Most small-property sites end every room card in “Enquire Now”. Someone comparing three places needs a number now, so they go to a travel agency that shows one — and the booking that arrives back costs 15–25% in commission.

Collecting a phone number across three steps, with no dates and no rate, turns every guest into a callback somebody has to make. The guest has already been asked to wait, and waiting is where they leave.
